Solar Energy Systems
Harnessing the Power of the Sun

Today’s solar heaters, or solar thermal systems, provide environmentally friendly heat for water heating, space heating, and swimming pools. Solar water and pool heating systems are often used for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

Consumers can use a typical solar hot water collector to meet nearly all of their domestic hot water needs in Florida. The average system takes up just 40 square feet of roof space, so a majority of homeowners should be able to reap the benefits of using solar to heat their water. Commercial solar water heating systems can range in size from conventional sized systems that heat water for offices to systems designed for large industrial applications.

Water heaters consume 13 percent of all energy used in America’s residences and 6 percent of all energy in commercial buildings. A solar water heating system provides peace of mind that your business is contributing to environmental stewardship while helping bottom-line expenses.
