HURRICANE WILMA RESTORATION COMPLETE

Crews Work Through Wind, Rain to Restore Service to Affected Customers

ORLANDO - OUC—The Reliable One has restored power to all customers who lost service as a result of Hurricane Wilma on Monday.

OUC workers spent Monday restoring service after Hurricane Wilma hit Florida.

All day Monday, OUC crews worked to restore service to customers as Hurricane Wilma moved across Central Florida. At the height of the storm, about 12,000 customers across OUC’s electric service area in Orlando, St. Cloud and parts of Orange County were without service.

Three contract crews from Georgia assisted with OUC’s storm restoration efforts.

If customers did not report an outage and are still without power, they should call 407.823.9150 with their account or phone numbers ready.

OUC thanks its customers for their understanding as the restoration process unfolded on Monday.
