ENERGY STAR® Windows | $1.50 per sqft.

Energy-efficient windows can help minimize your heating, cooling and lighting costs, providing comfort and protecting valuables from harmful sun rays.

Before You Get Started

  1. Determine which windows you’d like to replace and an overall budget.
  2. Learn more about ENERGY STAR-certified windows on energystar.gov.
  3. Choose ENERGY STAR® certified windows that meet the Southern Climate Zone Window criteria.
  4. Consult with a professional to conduct measurements and assist with installation.

Submitting Your Rebate Application

Be prepared to provide us with the following documents:

  1. An invoice that reflects either the separately itemized dimensions for each type of window installed or the total square footage.
  2. A copy of each NFRC window sticker
  3. A completed Required Window Rebate Form.
Rebate Requirements & FAQs

Requirements: Windows must be National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) certified and meet ENERGY STAR® southern regionally accepted standards of a U-Factor ≤ 0.32 and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) ≤ 0.23. Sliding glass doors must meet ENERGY STAR® southern regionally accepted standards of a U-Factor ≤ 0.28 and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) ≤ 0.23. All receipts/invoices must be dated and submitted within six (6) months of the date of purchase.

Eligibility: Available to OUC electric customers.

Reimbursement: Customers will receive an approval email once the application has been submitted, reviewed and approved by one of our conservation support specialists. Rebate will be paid as a credit on your bill.

Exemptions: Not available for OUC water-only customers.
