Today, OUC—The Reliable One began a series of prescribed burns in the north section (Zone 1) at the Stanton Energy Center. These prescribed burns help reduce brush and vegetation buildup that can fuel wildfires.

OUC is donating about 160 concrete pole sections to support a new artificial reef project led by the Brevard County Natural Resources Management Department. Each pole weighs between 5,000 and 8,000 pounds – nearly 500 tons of “holiday cheer” headed underwater to help create vital habitat for marine life.
