Submitting Your Rebate Application

Be prepared to provide us with the following documents:

  1. Any supporting documentation such as receipts, before and after pictures and/or design plans. A physical inspection of the installed changes must be verified by an irrigation and landscaping professional.
  2. All contractor invoices/documentation submitted must include a list of Florida-Friendly plants installed, total irrigated area, pre-existing area covered by high-volume irrigation and final area covered by high-volume irrigation.
Rebate Requirements & FAQs

Requirements: Only Florida-Friendly listed plants qualify for this rebate. Permanent irrigation system improvements must reduce the total irrigated area served by high-volume irrigation components to no more than 50%. Reductions must be made using microirrigation components, such as drip, point-source or microsprays. All receipts/invoices submitted must be dated and submitted within six (6) months of the date of purchase.

Eligibility: Rebates only apply to existing homes. Rebate is only available to customers with 50% or more of their irrigated area served by high-volume irrigation components, such as spray heads and rotors. Rebate will only be paid when both Florida-Friendly plants and permanent irrigation system improvements are installed and verified.

Reimbursement: Earn up to $200 back when installing low-volume irrigation systems and qualifying Florida-Friendly plants. Customers will receive an approval email once the application has been submitted, reviewed and approved by one of our conservation support specialists. Rebate will be paid as a credit on your bill.

Exemptions: Property cannot be located outside of OUC’s water service territory. This rebate is not eligible for new construction. Reclaimed water does not qualify for this program.
