Orlando’s Hometown Utility Ranks Among Top Three Providers in Southern U.S.
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) has been recognized as a '2024 Customer Champion' among U.S. energy providers, reaffirming its reputation as an industry leader.
Conducted by Escalent, a leading advisory firm specializing in human behavior and data analytics, the Cogent Syndicated 2024 Utility Trusted Brand and Customer EngagementTM Residential Study surveyed more than 59,000 residential customers of electric, gas, and combination utilities across the country. OUC earned a score of 762, tying for second place out of 44 providers in the Southern region.
Escalent noted that utilities named as “Customer Champions” outperformed the industry across several metrics, demonstrating an ability to build goodwill in the community, clearly communicate improvements, and illustrate their value to customers through secondary offerings and savings opportunities.
“This recognition is a testament to the dedicated team members who put our customers first every day,” said Linda Ferrone, Chief Customer and Marketing Officer. “We’re always working to provide exceptional, reliable, people-focused service, and it’s an honor to be acknowledged by Escalent. OUC remains committed to delivering the innovative solutions that our community expects and deserves.”
