Jaison Busby
Vice President of Digital and Technology
Jaison Busby is the Vice President of Digital and Technology (D&T) at the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC—The Reliable One), the 14th largest public power utility in the United States. He leads business unit strategic planning, oversees implementation and maintenance of IT and security, and works closely with business leaders across the company to support innovation, growth and digital transformation. His areas of responsibility encompass the full range of applications, infrastructure, security and cloud management activities. This includes leading enterprise-wide efforts to implement innovative solutions that drive customer engagement by embracing data-driven, customer-tailored technologies.
Busby, an information technology executive with 30 years of progressive experience, joined OUC in septiembre de 2024.
Before coming to OUC, Jaison worked for DTE Energy, a Detroit-based utility company, where he was responsible for the business relationship and overall planning, execution and strategic direction of IT/OT applications, systems and associated infrastructures supporting the utility’s Power Supply and Gas business units, including Renewables (wind and solar), Nuclear Generation, Fossil Generation, Generation Optimization, Fuel Supply and Gas. Previously at DTE, Busby held IT management roles with Customer Operations, Network Engineering, Employee Experience, and Business Relationship Management teams, in which he was accountable for the strategic direction and day-to-day IT operations for these functions. Before DTE, Jaison led the Global Synergies and Planning Architecture initiatives at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles – North America, managing overall A&I IT initiatives on behalf of Chrysler NAFTA.
Busby earned a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from Oakland University and a Master of Business Administration in technical management from the University of Phoenix.
